On March 14 at 10AM, AKMU’s label YG Entertainment announced the news of AKMU’s nationwide concert tour on its official social media channel. According to the news, AKMU has confirmed their concert tour in three cities in Korea: Gwangju, Daegu, and Busan. Then, more concerts will be held in other cities including Seongnam, Daejeon, and Incheon. The news of AKMU’s nationwide concert tour is drawing keen attention from music fans.
An YG insider said, “The decision to hold AKMU’s concert tour nationwide was made as fans around the country who cannot come to the Seoul concert have requested for concerts in their regions”.
All the tickets for AKMU’s Seoul concert were sold out and AKMU’s enormous popularity was proven once again, as the tickets took No.1 on the daily and monthly ticket sales ranking of Melon Ticket, a ticket reservation website.
The concert tour will have total three concepts including “CHAN HYUK’s Diary” that expresses CHAN HYUK’s perspective; “SU HYUN’s Diary” based on LEE SU HYUN’s thoughts written in her diary; and “AKMU Diary” that talks about AKMU’s stories.
AKMU will first hold total eight concerts at Sogang University in Seoul for eight days: March 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, and 31, as well as April 1 and 2. Then, the concert will continue in Gwangju on April 15, in Daegu on April 22, and in Busan on May 27.
