Boy group, WINNER who had been recently reorganized as a 4-member group will be back on April this year.

WINNER will finally break its long hiatus, due to return on April, officials said. They take a year and two months of break after the release of their mini-album, “Exit: E” released in February last year. The information spread after YG Entertainment discussed WINNER’s first music show comeback date with a broadcast station.

Fans have speculated that WINNER is due to return after photos of their music video filming in the U.S. went viral in social media. A representative from YG also acknowledged such comeback speculations stating, “It is true that we are currently working on WINNER’s first music show comeback on the first week of April, however the exact date for the release of their new music isn’t confirmed yet. It might be on April 1st but it might be before that as well.”

In February last year, WINNER released their mini-album but member Nam Taehyun‘s health deterioration have put their follow-up album on hold. An unexpected crisis came when Nam Taehyun officially left the group last year. During that time, YG Entertainment stated, “Nam Taehyun will leave but no other member will be added and WINNER will continue to promote as 4 members.” Afterwards, they reorganized themselves as four and focused on producing new songs and practiced their choreography towards the end of the year.

Meanwhile, Song Mino introduced a new sense of entertainment and have appeared on tvN “New Journey to the West 3” while Kang Seungyoon became a permanent member of SBS “Flower Crew“. They worked hard to comfort their fans who were disappointed after their long hiatus.

WINNER, who have become a 4-man team have been anticipated for the kind of music they will be releasing.

Let’s all look forward to WINNER’s comeback! Fighting oppas!
