Yesterday, Minzy posted on her Twitter, “I like sweet spring. When music plays and it rains, spring becomes sweet” along with a picture of herself.

In the picture, Minzy is wearing an orange flower necklace and matched a light green top, revealing a bright spring look. She smiled slightly at the camera, showing off her beauty.

YG Entertainment will establish a joint venture with KT and District to develop hologram contents.

On May 20, YG announced, “We will move into full swing with contents business development. The joint venture, Next Interactive K, Limited, will focus on hologram performances and contents by Korean artists as well as global artists for the use of amusement parks.”

Starting with the hologram showcase to be held in August at a major Korean amusement park, Everland, YG and KT will begin opening K-pop theme parks in multiple locations including Jeju Island. They plan on building around 20 more K-pop theme parks in countries like China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, as well as North America and Europe by 2015.

At the first showcase in Everland, Psy’s “Gangnam Style” will be performed. By September, additional contents by Big Bang and 2NE1 will be made available.

With its expansion into hologram contents, YG will be able to surpass physical, spatial limitations in its effort to take K-pop overseas.

Psy’s first hologram performance to be held in August at ‘YG at Everland’ will be first revealed on May 21 at 2013 WORLD IT SHOW in Gangnam’s Coex Mall.

It was confirmed on the 21st that Bigbang‘s G-Dragon and Taeyang will appear on the music video of CL‘s first solo debut single.

An official from YG Entertainment contacted SBS E! Entertainment news and said “the YG family members who helped CL for her first solo MV includes G-Dragon and Taeyang.“

He also added, “CL is preparing for her first solo album and 2NE1′s comeback is also coming ahead, so she has a lot of work to do. G-Dragon and Taeyang’s support will be a great help to her.”

Meanwhile, another official stated through Star News, “Even before, YG artists often appear on the music videos of the other members of the family to show their support to each other. Se7en and Taeyang also appeared on G-Dragon’s MichiGO before.”

Since 2NE1‘s debut four years ago, this is CL‘s first solo, and it is unknown if this will be the last, making CL worry. This is why the members of YG family showed their support towards her in every way they can.

YG Entertainment remained quiet about the title of her song and haven’t released any teasers yet, making the fans curious. But yesterday, it was announced that CL‘s first solo song will be an intense hip-hop song in dub-step genre added up with a “dougie style” in it.

Something new is coming to all 2NE1 fanatics. The group is set to release a jewelry line this June, a collaboration with a luxury brand of jewelry, Chrome Hearts.

YG Entertainment has confirmed that Shinsegae department store chose 2NE1 as their special model. Their promotional poster will be displayed on the store and will run from May 29 to June 27. Shinsegae also will be responsible in holding the events for 2NE1 jewelry release with Chrome Hearts.

Starting May 29, Shinsegae Department Store is set to open a pop up store for Chrome Hearts and this will showcase exclusive 2NE1 special edition products that the group participated in.

2NE1 jewelry will be on display and sold only in Korea for about a month and then set to released worldwide. 2NE1 fans will be delighted in acquiring one of their top of the line jewelry. 2NE1 also has a special participation in choosing the designs and also collaborates with the production in planning their jewelry line. Psy is still bearing the fruit of Gangnam Style’s success, most recently picking up an award at the Billboard Music Awards, the first for a Korean singer.

The award show was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 19, where Psy was awarded the Top Streaming Song (Video) award for viral hit Gangnam Style, beating out heavyweights like Carly Rae Jepsen, Taylor Swift, Fun, and Macklemore.

The award is given to the most-viewed music video online via YouTube and other SNS platforms. With Gangnam Style having amassed more than 1.6 billion (and counting) views on YouTube, the award didn’t come as a surprise to anyone.

Psy was nominated in a total of six categories at this year’s ceremony, including Top New Artist, Top Streaming Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Dance Song and Top Rap Song.

G-Dragon overcame his injury to entertain 24,000 fans in Hong Kong from May 17-18.

Starting from his Seoul concerts in March, G-Dragon has been touring the world with his G-Dragon 2013 World Tour: One of a Kind. Tickets for the tour concert to take place in Hong Kong sold out soon after they were made available, proving the great popularity G-Dragon enjoyed not only as a member of Big Bang, but also as a solo singer.

In the press conference held before the concert with local press, G-Dragon said, “When I perform as five with Big Bang, it feels like I′m collaborating artist to artist, while when I go solo I try to do what I wanted to do but wasn′t able to. To be honest, I′m feeling the pressure, but I think I can enjoy the tour now that it′s well underway.”

Local media outlets showed interest in G-Dragon′s leg injury and about how he carried a cane around everywhere he went, but G-Dragon showed he was okay during the concert, saying his “leg injury has completely healed.”

For the two concerts, G-Dragon performed over 20 of his hits including Heartbreaker, Michi GO and One of a Kind.

The guest of the day turned out to be Epik High. Tablo sang Light It Up with G-Dragon, and joined his fellow Epik High members for performances of Don′t Hate Me, Fly and Up.

G-Dragon next plans to fly to Shanghai, China from May 25-26.

Taeyang celebrated his 26th (25th international age) birthday today on May 18, but rather than make the day about him, he made sure to thank his fans and pay his respects to those affected by the ‘5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement‘.

Taeyang shared, “Although today is my birthday, it is also a historic day that we can’t forget. The sentiment I feel every year from being born on this meaningful day is always different! 5.18 is the day that Taeyang brought his swag into the world, but it is also the day of the Gwangju Democratization Movement, which honors the civilians who lost their lives during the unfortunate event that took place in 1980.

Rumors have been circulating for a while that the group’s comeback may happen after CL’s solo single promotions, and they have turned out to be accurate!
