YG Entertainment’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK supported the solo comeback of Park Bom, who once used to be a member of 2NE1.
On February 15, YANG HYUN SUK posted a photo of an article mentioning Park Bom’s comeback on his social media and wrote, “Although she is no longer with YG, I really wish her all the success with her new release”.
According to the exclusive coverage by Star News on February 15, Park Bom has confirmed to release a new song on March to make comeback to the K-Pop scene and is going through final touches. It will be her comeback in 8 years since she released her hit solo album ‘YOU AND I’ back in 2009 and her digital single ‘Don’t Cry’, released back in April 2011.
Park Bom made debut in the K-Pop scene back in 2009 as a member of 2NE1. After she spent her childhood in the US, her charms and extraordinary vocals skills were acknowledged by YG Entertainment back in 2005, allowing her to enter the agency as a trainee. After the training process, she showed off her capabilities as the main vocalist of 2NE1.
Park Bom raised her popularity as not only a member of 2NE1, but also as a solo artist. Her musicality was also acknowledged through her collaborations with various artists including BIGBANG and Epik High. After the group 2NE1 disbanded back in 2016, she started taking her own path as a solo artist.
